KEYSTONE PRIDE CONFERENCE 2017 SATURDAY, MARCH 25, 10 A.M. HARRISBURG, PA
Keystone Pride Conference 2017, Saturday, March 25, 2022 was a great success. This was our 3rd annual conference, but this will be the first one held on Saturday. Our first two conferences were on Sundays, but the logistics of setting up in a vacant State Capital Complex proved daunting. The Saturday date did cause one of our groups not to attend. We will be submitted a questionnaire to determine which of the days is better.
State Representative Brian Sims obtained a new meeting room for us as we outgrew our room setting for the second year in a row (which is not a bad thing!) Room 60 East (you can see it on the map) was a great space.
Attending this year was: (1) Philadelphia, (2) South Jersey, (3) Northwest Pa., (4) Long Island, (5) Lehigh Valley, (6) Gay Rodeo Association, (7) Phila Black Pride and (8) Reading. (1) Northeast Pa., (2) New Hope (3) Central Pa. and (4) Chester County were not able to attend. We see the Keystone Pride Conference as the type of event that may be invaluable for young and growing prides to learn from the experience of others. Although we started this conference primarily for Pennsylvania groups, the need for networking without paying conference fees seems to be growing; therefore, all are invited and everyone is welcome. We all learn from each other; therefore, the more that attend, the more we can learn.
